If you are looking for custom beveled glass, mirrors or table tops you have come to the right place. Beveled glass is a way of saying "I'm not boring". Flat glass is standard and works for most applications. But it does not say anything about you or your home.
Beveled glass is created by taking standard glass (at least one quarter-inch thick) and then creating a bevel around the edges. We custom-create your beveled glass using an edger machine. The edger has 12 rotating wheels that are lubricated. The first wheel does a coarse cut on the glass, trimming away a large portion of the edge. The second wheel does a slightly less coarse cut. And so on. The finish wheels can then be used (optionally) to frost the glass and the final wheels do the polishing. The end result is that what went in as boring flat glass comes out as something extraordinary.
We recommend beveled glass for table-tops, cabinet doors, front doors, transoms and sidelights, bathroom mirrors, medicine cabinets and bars. Especially nice to use leaded glass with beveling to create transoms, sidelights, doors and for church windows. |
