There are times when Plexiglas is fine and proper for the job and times when it's not. We would be happy to explain the difference and help you in any way possible.
Plexiglas comes in many different forms. It can have different thicknesses. It can even be colored. Plexiglas differs from regular glass in that instead of being sand and silica- based like regular glass which forms a rigid breakable material, plexiglas is made of a variety of substances such as acrylics to form a solid sheet with the consistency of plastic which is more break
resistant and less likely to have sharp shards that can cut and lacerate.
Plexiglas is for outdoor patio tables or where safety is an issue.
